Built in 1821, the  Daniel Carter Beard House is one of the two oldest buildings in Kenton County

The house shares with the Roebling Suspension Bridge the distinction of being one of the two National Historic Landmarks in Northern Kentucky. It was the childhood home of "Uncle Dan", a founder of Boys Scouts of America

It is located in Covington's Licking-Riverside Historic District at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking River across from downtown Cincinnati.

Directions to the house can be found by clicking the Directions and maps tab to the left.
